Diego Soldi Martín
arranger | orchestrator | music engraver
My journey as a double bassist, composer, and arranger has led me to collaborate with orchestras, composers, and performers worldwide. I bring together the precision of music engraving with the creativity of orchestration to help artists turn ideas into living sound.
Originally from Argentina and now based in Spain, I studied Double Bass at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Buenos Aires, “Astor Piazzolla”, and later earned a Master’s degree in artistic teachings of musical performance and applied research at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Castellón, “Salvador Seguí”.
As an active performer, I have played in orchestras, Jazz ensembles, contemporary music groups, and commercial projects. These experiences, together with my studies in composition and arranging, shaped the way I approach orchestration: with both technical precision and a performer’s sensitivity.
Today, I collaborate with orchestras, composers, and performers worldwide, offering orchestration, arrangement, transcription, and music engraving services. My goal is always the same: to create scores that are clear, playable, and artistically compelling.

My musical journey

Collaborations
Throughout my career I have collaborated with orchestras and institutions such as the Redmond Tech Orchestra, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and the Swiss Jazz School; with composers including Alex Nante, Zinia Chan, Gordon Green, Manouk Roussyalian, Jordi Forniés, and Peter Compo; and with distinguished performers such as Viacheslav Dinerchtein (viola), Brock Drevlow (double bass), Janice Martin (violin, piano, and voice), Vita Koreneva (mezzo-soprano), and Victoria Miningham (soprano and composer).
Beyond these projects, I have partnered with numerous songwriters and producers worldwide, spanning genres from Classical and Jazz to Pop, Rock, Folk, and EDM. These collaborations reflect not only the stylistic versatility of my work but also my commitment to clarity, adaptability, and creating arrangements that serve both the music and the people behind it.
